Hi - just checking with the shadow maintainers on the possibility of accepting the proposed fix I sent to bug #814670 - Is the approach used in the patch acceptable, either as-is or with some modification? If not, is there some other approach you'd like to see tried (I'm happy to implement an alternative)?
