I think the wiki page is now in a state that I won't embarrass mysself
by going on debian-devel with that, which I will do tomorrow after
sleeping over things once more and doing some final polishing and also
going over my draft for the -devel message asking some questions like
"should we expicily allow unicode in usernames, document and support
this".

This is just a heads up so that you can participate in the discussion on
-devel which I hope to be fruitful.

Should I put in a postscriptum like "in case you want to collaborate or
help with the packages that interface with the user database and get
close to this exciting topic, please get in touch with
pkg-shadow-devel at l.d.o"?
