Dear Maintainer,

The NEWS [1] file contains this entry:

shadow (1:4.16.0-5) unstable; urgency=medium

  /var/log/faillog and the programs to read it are no longer part since
  1:4.15.2-2.
  The file isn't cleaned up automatically, which should be done manually,
  unless it is still needed for special reasons.

In this entry you can see the line:

```

"are no longer part since"? What does that mean? No longer part of
something? What something?
