Repackage the source before importing it into the Git repository with
git-import-orig.  It doesn't matter if a stray copy does show up in the
repository, but we have to make sure that the upstream tarball doesn't
include that file.

You can see how I'm handling this with the existing shibboleth-sp package.
debian/rules get-orig-source takes care of the repackaging.
