Upcoming Shibboleth package transition

Hello folks,

I mailed debian-release a while back and didn't get a response about this,
but that was right in the middle of the krb5 and KDE transitions.  The
current migration status seems much calmer, so now is probably a better
time for this.

I'm preparing new packages for Shibboleth 2.2, which involves a new
library stack with new SONAMEs.  The resulting transition will entangle:

    xml-security-c
    xmltooling
    opensaml
    opensaml2
    shibboleth-sp
    shibboleth-sp2

Is now a good time for me to start uploading these packages to unstable,
or should I wait for a while longer?
