Don't you plan to push your backport branches to the repositories?

Unrelated: https://bugs.internet2.edu/jira/browse/SSPCPP-272 strongly
affects the SP2 package.  Shall I create some bug/unlink-pidfile branch,
or shall we wait for the next release?
