Per the message I sent out yesterday (oh, but maybe you're not on
pkg-shibboleth-devel or shibboleth-users?) there are 2.1 packages
available from my personal repository for both sid and lenny for i386.

I can probably do amd64 builds if you need them urgently.

Let me know if you didn't get that message and I'll resend it to you.

Because the backports.org amd64 buildd confused itself and died on the
build and no one has answered my mail about who to tell about it to fix
it.  :/  The problem will at least move once I start uploading the new
backports of the new versions, and hopefully it will work properly this
time.
