OK, I didn't expect that you'd do that. You can see the response in the
thread I started. It's a known bug (I'm trying to find out of it's formally
filed yet, I couldn't find it), and the fix appears to be to just undo the
change that caused the problem.

I'm trying to find out what the change was supposed to do, but since the
result would be to restore the 3.0.1 behavior, I guess it's not high risk. I
don't believe it's been committed, though. I can push for that if it makes
things easier here.
