I could fiddle with the build system to not run Doxygen when built from
the buildds, since after all it's just going to throw out the doc package
when doing an arch-specific build.  I may try that.

In theory, at some point Debian is going to end up with a general way to
do this automatically for everything.  When that happens, everyone will
have to back out of the current -dbg packages.  If we're not seeing any
demand for the debugging symbols right now, I'd therefore tend to wait and
see if the general solution materializes.
