Build failure for shibboleth-sp2 2.4.2

Okay, now I'm *really* confused.  I cannot duplicate this build failure
outside of a chroot, even with the same versions of g++, binutils, and
libtool (as well as, of course, all the various dependency libraries).

Clearly there's something different about the chroot from what I have
installed outside the chroot, but I haven't figured out what it is yet.
I would just upload something built outside the chroot for now, except
that the buildds seem to be seeing the same problems that I'm seeing in my
chroot.

I'm going to keep working on this tomorrow.
