Backports and packaging help

Hello Shib maintainers,

We at SWITCH provide Shibboleth SP deb packages for our community
members [1], supporting Debian [old]stable and Ubuntu LTS. Over time,
our packaging has diverged from Debian's and I think it would be more
efficient if I help you guys getting the latest SP releases in Debian
testing and also provide backports for stable and oldstable. How can I
help? What would be needed in order to include shibboleth-sp2 in Debian
backports [2]?
