There's a debian/wheezy-backports branch already in the repository that
has the correct build changes to work with Apache 2.2. The easiest way to
update the backport is usually to merge the current debian/master branch
into that branch. (Since there was some reformatting and cleanup, expect
a whole bunch of conflicts and a fair bit of work to clean things up.)

Once that merge is done, it then becomes easy to merge subsequent releases
into the backports branch.
