I don't recall the warning, it's possible I removed a comment to the effect that there's an actual release of Xalan that would build cleanly with everything, but honestly, it's still dead code. Nothing's really changed there that I know of. Somebody got a release done, but that was almost counterproductive, these projects just can't admit when they've died.
