1. The logo must include the registered trademark (®) symbol.
2. I doubt you're allowed to change the logo.

So your use of the logo violates rule 1 above (it has no registered
trademark (®) symbol).

But I doubt you're allowed to publich modified versions of the logo,
and the logo without the wordmark does not contain the registered
trademark (®) symbol itself.

So to me this means you're only allowed to use the logo+wordmark
version.

The fact that there's a separate logo provided (without the wordmark)
that does not contain the registered trademark (®) symbol seems like a
bug to me.
