As far I can see from bug #717587, the script did not break realmd,
but calling it by default would in some environments create a setup
that did not work with realmd.  I suspect this mostly affect Active
Directory environements.  Did I misunderstand?

While in other environments, without the need for realmd, like the one
we have at the University of Oslo and in Debian Edu, the
generate-config script worked just fine, creating a working setup out
of the box.

Can you please keep the script in the package, and just not call it by
default?  The script is very useful in some environments. :)
