[Pkg-sssd-devel] Bug#880013: sssd crashes on startup because of ldb version

Source: sssd
Version: 1.15.3-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

On upgrade of SSSD to the current version, libldb was also upgraded from
1.1.29-2 to 1.2.2-2.
This causes a segmentation fault when trying to start SSD (strace shows
segfault shortly after reading a ldap cache file).
As a workaround, downgrading to 1.1.29-2 resolves this and sssd works normally.
