I GUESS that the messages end up in this mailing list's moderation queue 
because it is set to "only members can post". That is strictly a policy 
voiolation since it's a maintainer address, and one of the reasons why I 
asked who has the mailing list password.

One of the next uploads should set the maintainer address to 
sssd at packages.debian.org.
