Ah, my bad.
Sorry for being on edge. It stems from several frustrating experiences
of "loosing" packages due to too hasty removal requests without prior
conversation with the listed maintained, and your name and "salvaging"
being in the email headers - a combination that, sorry to say, is a red
flag for me in that regard.
Yes, I agree that this removal was not hasty. Sorry for throwing blame.
I am not against the removal of src:scratch from Debian.
