Then the preferred way of doing things is to do a last upload fixing the
maintainers/uploaders. If it's adopted by pkg-swan-devel, the right
thing would be:

Maintainer: strongSwan Maintainers <pkg-swan-devel at lists.alioth.debian.org> 
Uploaders: Rene Mayrhofer <rmayr at debian.org>,
  Yves-Alexis Perez <corsac at debian.org>,
  Romain Francoise <rfrancoise at debian.org>

Is it currently maintained in some kind of vcs?
