[Pkg-systemd-maintainers] Bug#731742: systemd will not start syslog.socket. This causes rsyslogd to not start

Please remove that manual symlink again,
run
# systemctl enable rsyslog.service
the reboot and then check the status
# systemctl status rsyslog.service
# systemctl status syslog.service
# systemctl status syslog.socket
