[Pkg-systemd-maintainers] Bug#714198: [debdiff] Please also diff the maintscripts/control.tar.gz contents

In my day-to-day work it would be immensely useful if debdiff would also
show differences between the contents of control.tar.gz, specifically
the postinst/prerm/postrm maintscripts.

Is there a philosophical reason why debdiff doesn’t do that? Its manpage
describes this behavior.
