I do think it does. At least the way I think manifests itself much
better in git-buildpackage than in gitpkg.

In any case, I don’t think the minor differences in how the tools work
is worth using the non-popular tool. Both tools allow you to do roughly
the same thing, with each of them having some things easier, some things
harder.

Not in a form that is compatible with the Debian patch-tracker or
someone who is not familiar with how gitpkg works.

So, again, I’m asking whether I can go ahead and propose a plan on how
to switch to git-buildpackage? I’d really like to see this happening.
