The repository is now updated: the commits are clean (I think) and we
don’t lose history, because I renamed the “debian” branch to “master”.
The patches are now numbered, but not yet properly DEP-3 tagged. If you
want to squash some of them and start with DEP-3 tagging, please go
ahead, otherwise I’ll try to work on it this evening, if I have time
(there’s the monthly Debian meetup today).

For the record: we agreed upon in IRC that we’ll use this temporary
repository for the next upload and then evaluate how it went. If
everything was okay (or fixable), we’ll switch to it.
