Michael S., any idea why those entries are duplicated? That that ring a
bell?

I'm beginning to suspect, i-s-h is the culprit here, or older versions
of i-s-h, which rsyslog had been built against in the past.

If Eric is absolutey sure to not have deleted
/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/rsyslog.service himself,
and in case /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/rsyslog.service
is actually missing (waiting on confirmation from him), then this
probably only leaves i-s-h.

That said, I'll probably only test wheezy → jessie dist-upgrades. If
that works properly, I think that is sufficient.
