Yes.

So, the manpage crypttab(5) does not document a timeout parameter at
all. Only systemd’s crypt device support has the timeout parameter, but
that won’t trigger for devices mounted in the initramfs, since we don’t
use systemd in the initramfs (yet).

I’ll leave it up to you whether you want to move this bugreport to a
feature request for initramfs (to implement timeout=, though I don’t
understand the use-case) or whether to close the report.
