Hi,
systemd errors went away after I upgraded to linux-image-3.16-2-686-pae
kernel image.
apt-get install linux-image-3.16-2-686-pae
Earlier when I did "apt-get dist-upgrade", it was using
linux-image-2.6.32-5-686 and hence it was giving errors as it is
mentioned in systemd README file that systemd requires Linux kernel >=
3.0.
I think apt-get dist-upgrade should upgrade the kernel image from 2.6 to
3.0 as part of dependency to systemd.
Now uname -r command on my system says:
Linux debian 3.16-2-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 3.16.3-2 (2014-09-20) i686
GNU/Linux
For me this bug is now resolved after upgrade to kernel 3.16. You may
now please close this bug.
Thanks and Regards,
Manish Mohania
