Same here with systemd as PID 1 (without systemd-sysv though).

Indeed, there are some similar reports concerning systemd-shim.

I hope I will manage to debug it further. I am not sure if I should
already request a reassignment to systemd-shim. I hope I will manage to
debug the problem and pin-point it to some interface not meeting
specification...
