Playing around with journalctl, I stumbled upon some messages like this one:
sept. 24 14:15:35 arche systemd-journal[182]: Forwarding to syslog
missed 9 messages.
A quick Google search brought up this thread on upstream mailing list:

I'm not 100% sure it's the same problem, but it really looks pretty
close. The suggested fix is to increase the socket's buffer; it has been
recently committed on upstream git, but unfortunately, it's not in the
stable branch yet:

Any chance to include this fix in systemd before Jessie is released ?
Note: I have set the severity to important instead of normal, because
since journalctl is quite new in Debian, I guess most users (including
me) still rely on /var/log/syslog to read logs, thus maybe missing some
important messages from time to time.
