Martin did drop the python-systemd packages since there weren't any
reverse dependencies. I don't see fail2ban depend/recommend/suggest
python-systemd? Could you elaborate?

We already do a second build for the udeb package. Adding a third build
is not something I'm too keen about since the build times are already
quite long. Doing a full build for just the python bindings seems a bit
wasteful.
