I installed emacs in a current sid system and did M-x man "systemctl",
and I don't see this. I also don't get any warning with
"man --warnings systemctl".

The manpage has:

> is passed, all other units are recursively expanded as well\&.

I don't see anything obviously wrong with this.

So I'm afraid I can't reproduce this or know what's wrong...
