Hi,
As "upstream", I'm mostly the last one remaining
& don't have anyone to ask to.
So I went the "systemctl stop cron-update.path"
+ removal of the 'RefuseManual...' stanzas.
debhelper 10.2.5 doesn't like the systemctl calls much,
I can't test with Jessies's debhelper;
as I don't have access to my jessie VM at the moment.
'W: systemd-cron: maintainer-script-calls-systemctl prerm:11'
Feel free to tweak it further as you like before uploading it.
Greets,
