Bug#763601: systemd: booting is extremely slow depending on order of "console" arguments to kernel

Hello,

I have the same problem on my jessie machine. The only difference is,
that in contrast to Sven, I get the serial getty after booting was
finished, but no status lines on the serial console during the boot
process, after changing GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="console=tty0
console=ttyS2,115200n8r" to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="console=ttyS2,115200n8r
console=tty0".

By the way, the problem even caused that my computer could not complete
the boot process at all and instead, because of timeouts when waiting
for services, started a rescue shell when I did not connect to the
serial console in time. At least that could be solved by installing
newer lvm2 packages, available in snapshot.debian.org, from February
2016 and upgrading to systemd from jessie-backports.

Regards
   Christoph
