It is correct, nftables.service is disabled and not running.

> # nft list tables
> table ip firewall
> table ip6 firewall

What's relevant to deb-systemd-invoke is the output of
systemctl status nftables.service

If you check that, you will see that the status of nftables.service is
disabled and not running.
