Unfortunately the provided backtrace is not particularly helpful.
Can you reliably reproduce the issue?
If so it would be great if you can install the dbgsym packages from
stretch-proposed-updates:
deb http://debug.mirrors.debian.org/debian-debug/
stretch-proposed-updates-debug main
and then get us another backtrace.
