Yeah, on second thought, I don't think this proposal was actually such a
good idea.
We not only would have to coordinate that change tightly with
cryptsetup, which e.g. would make backports more complicated.
But more importantly this change would have the potential to break 3rd
party init scripts.

So let's discard this idea again.
