Sorry for the delay - busy with work.

Tried to get a serial terminal connection with the installation and
failed. Since this bug was filed there has been a new release of
VirtualBox and a new release of Debian testing.
The issue doesn't appear with the new release of testing on the updated
version of VirtualBox.

As far as I'm concerned the bug can be closed.
