Thank you very much for addressing this problem!

Do you think that this small bug fix is eligible for Debian
stable-updates or a similar mechanism to make it available in the quite
recent stable release? (I'm asking because I'm not totally aware of
Debian's policies here -- but I for sure understand that it is not a
very critical bug.)
