Ok, thanks for your feedback.

Any opinion on which access mode we should use, i.e. follow upstream
(well fedora) and make them 0666 or should we be a bit more restrictive
and choose 0660 here?
(fwiw, I don't quite see the point of introducing a special group and
then making the device world writeable anyway)
