/var/tmp is not the place to store your music collection and I highly
doubt that a significant number of people actually do that. So no, I
don't think this is a valid concern. Should we change the default, I
certainly don't plan to add a debconf prompt.
I'm more worried about long running systems: servers which run for
weeks, where the time based clean-up might remove files that are used by
a (running) service.
