I guess for v247 in bullseye, we might consider that.
Can you test if applying 
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/18976/commits/238d7efec627f9dc1d52538251c6e3d158d512ae
on top of the Debian package as available in testing fixes the issue as 
well?
