Pretty much similar, yes, except in my case it's not a race condiiton.

Sorry, I must have overlooked it, and apologies if my strace was clipped -
marking as fixed upstream sounds like an excellent idea to me - if it it
turns out to be still a problem, and I run into it, I can either re-open
or report again once it happens.
