We had this in the past, like e.g. in [1]. But I'm still not convinced 
that we should be starting to patch the man pages. I want less Debian 
specific patches not more and this would be one which we'd never get rid 
off again. A maintenance nightmare in the long run.

Strictly speaking, in this specific instance, the man pages aren't even 
incorrect, they just don't go into Debian specific details.
I don't think it's worth patching that.
