This is my first time submitting a bug, please let me know if have any questions :)
The recent removal of systemd-resolved (Bug#1098914) has caused significant disruption to modern DNS management workflows, particularly for applications like Tailscale that rely on advanced DNS features. This decision contradicts Linux ecosystem best practices outlined in technical analyses such as [The Sisyphean Task Of DNS Client Config on Linux](https://tailscale.com/blog/sisyphean-dns-client-linux/).
The main issue here is that there is no alternative/ Ready to use like `systemd-resolved`
Debian’s alternatives fail to meet parity:
Feature
systemd-resolved
resolvconf
NetworkManager
dnsmasq
