Errors "watchdog did not stop!" and "Unable to finalize remaining MD devices, ignoring."

Hi!

Since a few years now I always see following error message from systemd after I typed 'reboot' to restart my server:

> watchdog: watchdog0: watchdog did not stop!
> systemd-shutdown[1]: Unable to finalize remaining MD devices, ignoring.

I created an issue on GitHub of systemd

but also found this issue

where someone stated this is an issue with the distro:
