EC2 launch from AMI has broken symbolic link "/etc/vconsole.conf" target:

ls: cannot access '/etc/default/keyboard': No such file or directory
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Aug 13 21:33 /etc/vconsole.conf -> default/keyboard
admin at deb13arm:~$
