Hello Luca, thank you for your response.
However, I would like to challenge your response and dismissal of the concern this bug report is raising. 

1. The setup you are calling "just a local setup" is a very common approach to auto-mount encrypted partitions on a countless number of mobile devises / laptops running Debian OS. This setup is well adopted, a part of Debian community common practice and it has been working correctly on a number previous releases of Debian. 

2. A technique that worked previously and now seems to be no longer functioning due to changes introduced in upcoming Trixie release, means that whatever changes to the code that worked before, rendered the new code/ version to be missing a functionality users / systems admins relied up on. That means a regression.
If regression takes place, is it not reasonable to let the users to know, to warn of such regression?

3. When a situation such this arises and unexpected outcome detected on a testing stages of the new upcoming OS, dismissing an input and findings in such way. "it's just a local setup" does not encourage people like me, early adopters and testers to - test and inform developers of issues and findings. 

4. Every install of Debian OS is local and those "just local setup's" run on users local machines. If it is not working on my local machine, it is very likely it won't work on machines of other users. 

Please make an effort at least to look in to it.
