Bug#1117589: Regression: System Hangs at Boot Until Key Press

Severity: normal

Few days bevor October 8th until that day (including) I had at least 4 of the described boot hangs. Afterwards, they did not show up so far again. Further, there are no reports from other people so far. So lowering the severity.

Upstream Lennard Poettering gave the hint, that it may have someting to do with an enabled a serial console via kernel parameters `console=...`, see https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues/35499#issuecomment-3384768239 and https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/f789b17e87b675acf1638a1801d9b16a377742e0. My kernel command line is and was debian default and does not contain such things. Further, I reckon that the fix of the latter link made it already to forky's systemd 258-1 version. However, I have had an old enabled systemd service for a serial console systemd-getty at ttyS0.service, which I have already disabled at October 9th in the evening.
