Bug#1138184: systemd: Version 262~rc1-1 still shows same symptoms

I saw that version 262~rc1-1 was appearing in salsa, so I built packages 
for it locally.

The same bugs as before still appear:

1)  programs relying on libopenal for sound support no longer have sound 
(see first msg in this bug report).

2)  the systemd "logcheck.service" routine fails to complete, with a 
hung 'sed' process (with 'logcheck' as parent process) visible when 
running 'top' (consuming 100% CPU)


Previously, it was possible for me to revert commit a05fe6684a, and then 
build new packages to restore correct behavior (programs relying on 
libopenal work, and logcheck.service does not cause 'sed' to hang); see 
message #25 above.

With the latest version (262~rc1-1) I could no longer revert commit 
a05fe6684a cleanly.  After investigating I found a more recent commit 
touching the same source code file (src/libc/epoll.c), commit 
a2de89f622.  Unfortunately, when I reverted a2de89f622 followed by 
a05fe6684a, only the libopenal issue was cleared up -- but the hanging 
'sed' process when systemd runs logcheck.service was still there.

For now, I will have to use my last working set of packages.
