off after 'shutdown -h now'

Package: initscripts
Version: 2.86.ds1-14
Severity: normal
Hello,
after recently installing initscripts, I can no longer power off the
machine using 'shutdown -h now'. The reason is that there is a syntax
error in /etc/init.d/halt which sets an option '-h' for /sbin/halt, but
such an option does not exist. The conditional to clear that flag also
doesn't trigger, so the call to /sbin/halt effectively looks something
like
halt .... -h
So, there are at least two problems in this script at least:
- calling /sbin/halt with '-h' which is illegal
- some non-functional code aimed at protecing RAIDs
Best,
