That's very likely. Not only do I have a chroot with things
bind-mounted in it, but the root fs itself is a read-only nfs mount,
with the things that need to be rw bind-mounted from a separate rw nfs
mount. I'll try the suggestion from #391375 early next week when I get
a chance.
